
4-H camps offer unique opportunities for students to explore interests and meet peers in a safe and educational environment. Offered throughout the summer each camp is designed to help youth develop life skills that will help them thrive in the future.
An overnight camp for 4th-6th graders (as of Jan. 1st of the current year), hosted at the Clyde Austin 4-H Center in Greeneville, TN. Campers learn about teamwork, communication and responsibility while engaging in friendly competition and a variety of activities. Campers can visit the wildlife center, fossil room, woodworking and airbrushing shops for hands on learning. They can also enjoy swimming, canoeing, fishing, or navigating through the ropes course among many other activities.

Junior High youth (seventh and eighth graders) enjoy the traditional camp activities offered at Junior Camp but also engage in small group learning with a variety of classes and competitions throughout the week as well as engage in service learning and an off-site adventure.
Participants will learn about electricity, engineerings, robotics and more with this exciting hands-on camp.
Target Smart Camp is part of the Tennessee 4-H Shooting Sports program. 5th-9th grade youth learn about safety, form, and responsible use while exploring shooting sports including archery, shotgun use, riflery, muzzleloading and outdoor skills.
Senior High youth (9th-12th) grades can build their leadership and service skills will enjoying a fun weekend conference.
Regional All Star Conferences are held in the Spring and Fall of each year.
State All-Star Camp is held in May/June.
Johnson County’s 4-H is available to all 4th-12th graders. Some projects and opportunities are available to youth younger than 4th grade. Each opportunity will list age requirements.
